<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To control deterioration caused by heat ray of a light source without utilizing a change element such as a color filter. <P>SOLUTION: The lighting equipment comprises: the light source 11; a diffraction grating 12 which reflects light emitted from the light source 11; a slit member 13 through which the light reflected by the diffraction grating 12 passes; and a mirror 14 guiding the light that has passed through the slit member 13 to a prescribed direction.
