PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal panel substrate enabling the yield thereof to be increased. SOLUTION: The liquid crystal panel substrate is equipped with a CF (color filter) substrate 100, a main seal 10, a first columnar spacer and a second columnar spacer. The CF substrate 100 is coated in a plurality of portions with the main seal 10 that forms liquid crystal cells. The main seal 10 is applied to form a liquid crystal cell having a predetermined space when stuck to the TFT substrate. The first columnar spacer is dispose inside the main seal 10 in order to hold a cell gap. The second columnar spacer is disposed to cover the perimeter of the main seal 10 in order to disperse repulsive force of the first spacer. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
