PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an assistance controller which appropriately perform assistance control performed in accordance with an object position, in accordance with the error accuracy of location positioning. SOLUTION: An accuracy error in positioning the location of one's own vehicle is calculated on the basis of information on execution history of map matching and information on update history of a map database, and an accuracy error level in performing positioning is specified among a plurality of gradual levels on the basis of the calculated accuracy error with reference to a prescribed map. Then, a control level of assistance control to be performed in accordance with the position of the one's own vehicle is changed in accordance with the specified accuracy error level.
