PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a run-off preventive device for a truck which facilitates maintenance even at a working site by a simple structure, saves cost, does not limit a stop position of a carrying truck, improves workability by enabling a worker to easily carry out work for preventing run-off in a standing position, relates with a coupling device of the truck to prevent a human mistake, and certainly prevents run-off because a friction force with wheels is not used. SOLUTION: The run-off preventive device is composed of a disc with teeth 3 which is a gear-shaped locking member attached to the outside of a wheel 2 of the truck, and a brake plate 5 which is a projecting member attached to the truck 1 and actuated by the pedal operation of a step-type pedal 4 to detachably engaged with the locking member.
