PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seedling transplanter which has a simple structure and can change the positions of planting rows in an easy operation. SOLUTION: This seedling transplanter comprising a transfer device (3) for transferring seedlings with revolved transfer cups (3c) and simultaneously dropping the seedlings at prescribed positions, a planting device (4) which is vertically driven with a driving link (4a) below the transfer device (3) and receives and plants the dropped seedlings with openable or closable beaky planting tools (4b), and a soil covering device for pressing a field surface with a soil-covering wheel (21) supported in a state capable of being vertically operated with a handle (23h) at a position behind the planting device (4), is characterized in that the beaky planting tools (4b) are supported in a state capable of being moved in a right or left direction with respect to the driving link (4a), and the soil-covering devices (21, 23h) are supported in a state capable of being moved in the width direction of the machine frame.
