Disclosed is a polyamide resin having excellent residence heat stability and a high biomass ratio. The polyamide resin is composed of an adipic acid unit, a pentamethylenediamine unit and a 6-aminocaproic acid unit, wherein the weight ratio between the total amount of the adipic acid unit and the pentamethylenediamine unit and the amount of the 6-aminocaproic acid unit ranges from 97:3 to 75:25. The pentamethylenediamine is preferably produced from lysine by using lysine decarboxylase, a cell capable of producing lysine decarboxylase, or a product produced by any treatment of the cell. |
