METHOD AND DEVICE FOR HANDLING THE COOLING LUBRICANT FED TO A MACHINING PROCESS

For handling the cooling lubricant fed to a machining process, liquid cooling lubricant is made to circulate and aerosol produced during the machining is extracted by means of an exhaust air stream. The circulating stream and the exhaust air stream are exposed to each other, in that the circulating stream and the exhaust air stream are mixed together to form a cooling lubricant/air mixture. A device for handling the cooling lubricant fed to a machining installation has a circulating system for feeding liquid cooling lubricant and a flue for extracting aerosol produced during the machining. The circulating system and the flue are connected to each other via at least one reaction space.
