The display produces a motion blur pointer image, when a motion speed of a pointer is larger than a specific value, where the motion blur pointer image is formed by a trapezoid. The display represents the motion blur pointer image as an image in a present frame. The brightness of the motion blur pointer image is changed based on the rotational speed of the pointer. A ratio of an increase in the brightness of the motion blur pointer image to the expansion in surface of the motion blur pointer image is reciprocal.
