The computer (2) has a housing (1) and slot cards (5), which are inserted into a slot (4) on a motherboard (3). A retainer (6) is provided for fixing the slot cards to an edge section of the slot cards, where the edge section lies opposite to the slot. The retainer is screwed with the motherboard, where the retainer has two screwing columns (7) and a retaining unit (8). The slot cards are fixed at a distance to each other thorugh an elastic unit.
