The retractor (10) has a belt reel (14) rotatably supported in a frame (12), and a locking tooth (16) arranged at the frame. Another locking tooth (18) is arranged at the belt reel. The locking teeth arrive in engagement by axial displacement of the belt reel and are blocked in a rotation direction of the belt reel. A belt pretensioner (20) is provided with a housing (22), where the belt reel is coupled with a sprocket (30) and the two locking tooth are axial teeth.
