摘要 <p>The inventive building material relates to construction and insulating building materials and has a porosity ranging from 80 to 95 vol.% at a density ranging from 70 to 400 kg/m&lt;SUP&gt;3 &lt;/SUP&gt;,&lt;SUP/&gt;a heat-conductivity factor ranging from 0.035 to 0.14 W/(m·°C) and a compressive strength ranging from 1 to 100 kgf/cm&lt;SUP&gt;2 &lt;/SUP&gt;. The inventive material is produced by a method consisting in exposing a silicate mass to a heat action, prior to filling in into moulds, in such a way that a silicate mass whose residual moisture is less than 5% is obtained, in grinding the silicate mass in such a way that the particle size of a main fraction ensuring, while blowing, the specified pore size of less than 3mm is obtained, wherein the silicate mass used for filling the moulds is embodied in the form of the powdered particles of a dry silicate mass, in exposing the ground silicate mass, prior to heating it to a blowing temperature, to a heat action at a temperature ranging from 80 to 600°C for partially removing a chemically combined water in such a way that a partly dehydrated silicate mass is obtained, and in consequently heating said mass up to the blowing temperature associated with the final removal of water, thereby initiating the formation of pores in the silicate mass.</p>
