A method and a system for billing a commission are provided to restrict CPC abusing by changing a CPC billing mode into a CPP(Cost Per Purchase) billing mode for billing the commission to only the click directly connected to real purchase. A purchase page provider(210) provides a purchase page by user selection for search information arranged in a search page by a search procedure. A signal generation checker(220) checks a sale completion signal from the purchase page when goods are sold to the user by a purchase procedure supported in the purchase page. A commission calculator(230) calculates the commission billed to the advertiser of search information by linking with the received sale completion signal. A counter(240) counts confirmation of the sale completion signals for the predetermined search information for a predetermined period. The commission calculator sums up the commission multiplying count by the commission after the predetermined period.
