<p>A clamp-on holder is provided to secure easy operability by clamping and locking first and second members with less power and to prevent deformation by locking the first and second members. A security tag holder(12) is releasably clamped on a garment. First and second members(20,22) are combined to execute a relative pivot motion for a pivot pin(24). The first member has clamping and locking regions(26,28) formed at the opposite side of the pivot pin. The second member has clamping and locking regions(46,48) formed at the opposite side of the pivot pin. The first locking region has a recessed part and a fixed magnet(40). The second locking region has a bore(54) and a movable magnet(58) fitted in the bore. The movable magnet is partially inserted into the recessed part and moved between a release position and a locking position for attaching the movable magnet to the fixed magnet. The first and second members are magnetized for each other to clamp the garment. The movable magnet moves from a release position to a locking position for a pivotal motion of the movable magnet to lock the first and second members.</p> |
