PURPOSE: An imaginary space establishing device by using a plane view and images and a method thereof are provided to establish a 3D imaginary space in an easy and simple manner by using images for assigning shapes of each object forming the space and 2D plane views and achieve the interaction between a user and the space by direct information exchange. CONSTITUTION: An imaginary space establishing device by using a plane view and images includes a temporal imaginary space establishing unit(21) for establishing equal temporal imaginary spaces with heights having values assigned by a user on the basis of 2D plane views of an imaginary space to establish, an image assigning unit(22) for assigning images representing shapes of respective surfaces of objects forming the established imaginary space, and a 3D imaginary space establishing unit(23) for extracting heights of the objects on the bases of the assigned images to apply to the temporal imaginary space, and carrying out image mapping for appearances to provide natural heights and appearances for the respective objects. |
