<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new game device and a game program capable of rotating a game image (field) on a display device. <P>SOLUTION: When rotation is instructed during a game in a first field (S51), the CPU core (34) of the game device (10) acquires the center coordinates of a second field after the rotation and the coordinates (center coordinates) of a player object and a BG object in steps S53 and S55. Then, rotation processing is executed in a hardware calculation circuit for instance in steps S57-S61. When the end of the rotation is detected in a step S63, the CPU core (34) executes map switching processing in a step S65. In the map switching processing (not shown in the flow chart), the second field is generated according to second area data. Then, after the second field is generated, winning is judged according to the second area data (not shown in the flow chart).
