<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ticket booking system and method to specify a destination with a telephone number. <P>SOLUTION: Disclosed are the ticket booking system and method to specify the destination with the telephone number. A terminal device for ticket booking receives a request to book a ticket which includes the telephone number of the destination first and transmits it to a servo device for booking by using a transmitting mechanism. Then the servo device specifies the destination by collating country numbers, area codes, local numbers, and code numbers of destinations, corresponding to those numbers, which are previously registered in a collation table, and uses the specified destination to book tickets for necessary transportation means. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
