<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a terminal capable of selecting an optimum provider or an optimum switching server depending on various conditions. <P>SOLUTION: A VOIP terminal 1 includes a communication module 11 compatible with a VOIP provider (a), communication module 12 compatible with a VOIP provider (b), and a communication module 13 compatible with an intra-office switch server, shares them with a user interface section 15, judges the VOIP provider (a), the VOIP provider (b), and an intra-office switch server SV being candidates in the case of transmission on the basis of user's operation information, a VOIP provider (a) and a VOIP provider (b), or an intra-office switch server SV to which a communication opposite party on the Internet INW belongs, information denoting the VOIP provider (a) and the VOIP provider (b), a result of the detection of a fault associated with respective communications by the intra-office switch server SV, and an analysis result of the QOS and the cost, and uses a communication module which satisfies the conditions, if any communication module is available. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
