PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent deterioration of an organic EL element array and maintain a superior display performance for a long period by efficiently removing moisture contained in a planarizing membrane. SOLUTION: The organic element array is constituted to be provided with a plurality of the organic EL elements having at least the planarizing membrane 5, a metal electrode 6, an organic light emitting layer 9, and a transparent electrode 11 on a substrate 1. A superhydrophilic thin membrane 4 is formed to be contacted with the planarizing membrane 5, and the moisture contained in the planarizing membrane is efficiently removed.
