PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control device for a vehicle which has a lock mechanism to be changed over between a locking condition and an unlocking condition by an actuator for locking the rotation of the wheel of the vehicle, preventing the transmission of power to the driving wheel during manual change-over into the unlocking condition. SOLUTION: When a manual release lever 38 as a manual change-over device using a manual unlock operation determining means 134 detects that the lock mechanism 50 is changed over from the locking condition into the unlocking condition, a restricting means 138 cuts off the transmission of driving force to the driving wheel 74 of the vehicle to prevent the transmission of the driving force to the driving wheel 74 concurrently with the manual release operation of parking lock.
