PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a controller for a vehicle capable of informing a driver of necessity of initial learning processing accurately only when the initial learning processing is not yet completed even if operation reaches a stage requiring the initial learning processing to prevent unnecessary warning outputting and occurrence of the situation that the driver forgets the initial learning processing. SOLUTION: This controller 10 for the vehicle outputs predetermined warning when the initial learning processing concerning a specific equipment 41 for control mounted on the vehicle is not yet completed and the vehicle is in a driving condition for satisfying predetermined warning conditions. This controller 10 is provided with a warning condition setting part 52 for setting the predetermined warning conditions when cumulative running distance of the vehicle does not reach predetermined distance and updating the predetermined warning conditions to the conditions having higher probability for outputting the warning when cumulative running distance of the vehicle reaches the predetermined distance and setting the updated conditions.
