PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a toner supply roller by which both of demolding property and cell opening property can stably be satisfied without requiring complicated steps even if repeated molding is carried out. SOLUTION: In the method for manufacturing a toner supply roller comprising a core bar and at least one polyurethane foam layer formed on the core bar, the polyurethane foam layer is obtained by carrying out foam molding in a metal mold whose inner surface is coated with an aqueous mold release agent containing a wax component and silicone oil in a mixing ratio of the silicone oil to the wax component being 50 to <90%.
