PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a battery pack for a power tool, capable of housing battery cells having desired sizes by freely selecting them and by making a battery case common to the battery cells having a plurality of sizes. SOLUTION: In this battery pack 10 for the power tool in which a plurality of the battery cells C2 piled in vertical two stages and held by a separator 21 can be housed in the battery case 11 divided into two parts composed of an upper case 11A and a lower case 11B, and a circuit board 15 held by a board holder 14 is housed in the upper case 11A, a first recessed part 14b engaged with the periphery of the large-sized battery cell C2 and a second recessed part 14a engaged with the periphery of the small-sized battery cell are formed in the board holder 14 so that a plurality of the large-sized battery cells C2 or a plurality of the small-sized battery cells can be housed.
