PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To estimate a model of a controlled object and parameters without loading field equipment, and automatically readjust the model and parameters with secular changes in the controlled equipment. SOLUTION: A control system comprises a system decision apparatus 1 for selecting a model of a controlled system including the controlled object 4 and identifying model parameters, a controller 20 for controlling the controlled object 4 such that an observed value and a desired value of the controlled object 4 match according to the model and model parameters identified by the system decision apparatus 1, and a notification means for sending model change observation data to the system decision apparatus 1 when determining a control performance degradation. The system decision apparatus 1 reselects a model of the controlled object 4 and reidentifies model parameters when receiving the model change observation data. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
