摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an acoustooptical element that can obtain uniform intensity of diffracted light. SOLUTION: The acoustooptical element includes a lower electrode 12 disposed on an end face of an acoustooptical element 11; a piezoelectric element 13 disposed on the surface of the lower electrode 12; an upper electrode 14 disposed on the surface of the piezoelectric element 13; a dividing groove 15 that divides the lower electrode 12, the upper electrode 14 and the piezoelectric element 13 into a plurality of segments; a first lead line 16a connected to the upper electrode 14 at one end and the lower electrode 12 at the other end; a plurality of second lead lines 16b connecting the upper electrode 14 and the lower electrode 12 to make serial connection of the piezoelectric elements 13 adjacent over the dividing groove 15; and a plurality of connecting members 17 connecting the first and second lead lines 16a, 16b with the upper electrode 14 and the lower electrode 12, wherein the plurality of connecting members 17 formed on the upper electrode 14 are disposed as shifted relative to each other in the dividing groove direction h of the upper electrode 14.
