PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquefied gas level sensor element, which enables accurate and reproducible measurement of the liquid level of a liquefied gas having a boiling point at about 21 K such as liquid hydrogen, and being easily manufactured with good reproducibility. SOLUTION: The liquefied gas level sensor element comprises a compound containing magnesium and boron, the compound being continuously disposed in the longitudinal direction on all or part of a surface of a metallic linear conductor.
