PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a chain case for a bicycle which can be installed to a bicycle with exterior speed change gear and can effectively prevent clothes of a travelling rider from getting into a chain or a gear or prevent the cloth from getting dirty. SOLUTION: The chain case X for a bicycle covers a part of a chain CH extended between a front gear A and a rear gear of the bicycle. The chain case X comprises: a main part 10 covering a part of the chain wound around the front gear; an entering chain covering part 20 integrally extended from the main part and covering a part of the chain entering into the front gear over a predetermined length; and a separated chain covering part 30 integrally extended from the main part and covering a part of the chain separated from the front gear over a predetermined length. A first member 100 which is positioned on one side in a vehicle width direction of the front gear, is combined with a second member which is positioned on an opposite side of the first member with sandwiching the front gear therebetween and can be integrated with the first member by an engaging means.
