PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device which has a durable display screen and which can repeat forming and eliminating of a picture. SOLUTION: The display device comprises a rigid plate which has an image forming surface 20, a frame section 30 having shading nature while a range corresponding to the image forming surface 20 is bordered, a head unit 212 which arranges ink on the image forming surface 20 and forms the picture, and a windshield wiper unit 232 which removes the ink so that the picture may be erased, wherein the head unit 212 and the windshield wiper unit 232 are located in each domain concealed by the frame section 30 when the picture is displayed.
