PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a joint for piping, which is manufactured by decreased working steps while securely having excellent airtightness, and to provide its manufacturing method. SOLUTION: The joint for piping comprises a pipe part having a sealing part, on which a sealing member such as an o-ring for securing airtightness of the inside of a pipe to the outside is fitted; and holding parts, which are provided on the front and rear sides of the sealing part and hold the sealing member on the sealing part. In manufacturing the joint, the holding part is composed of holding-part forming members of an annular shape, which is different from the pipe part and the sealing part and the holding parts are formed by caulking the holding-part forming members by radially expanding the pipe after fitting the members on the pipe part.
