The vehicle roof has a fixed roof component (3,5) with a water channel (22) opening out into a water collecting chamber (26) adjacent to a movable side rail and provided with a drain (36). The side rail has a water channel which ends over the water collecting chamber. The displaceable section (11) of the roof component has an elastic seal (24) which on one side lies on the water channel of the roof component and the water channel of the side rail, and on the other side bridges the water collecting chamber and deflects collected water to the water channels. |
