The device has two welding jaws (2,3) displaced towards each other to weld a formed film web (4) or a tubular film (5). A jaw holder (6) connects each welding jaw to a separate jaw support (7,8). A drive (9) has two linear motors (10,11), connected to the jaw supports by a device to generate an opposing jaw displacement. Secondary parts (13,15) of linear motors, are movable parts and interconnected by a magnetic shielding, where primary parts (12,14) are arranged as stationary parts. Two primary parts are arranged on a single secondary part. |
