A memory stick is provided to maintain security of stored data by reinforcing a password function thereof. A memory unit(100) includes a flash memory controller part(120) and a flash memory part(140). The flash memory part includes a USB controller(122) to perform a USB interfacing operation with a host or a PC. The flash memory part is controlled by the flash memory controller part, in order to read, write, and erase data. A display unit(200) includes an LCD panel part(210) and a driver IC part(220). The driver IC part is interfaced with the flash memory controller part in order to drive the LCD panel part. The flash memory part stores a password in a predetermined address of a memory. |
