A system and an apparatus for controlling a door lock key using a mobile communication terminal are provided to store a security state of a door lock controller by embedding a smart card in the door lock controller. A door lock controller(100) includes a sensor, a smart card, and a cellular phone module. When an object is detected for a predetermined time interval, the door lock controller pictures the object and transmits the image to a mobile terminal. When a door control signal is received from the mobile terminal, the door lock controller releases the door lock. When an abnormal signal is detected from a security sensor in the smart card, the door lock controller transmits a door emergency signal to a security server. The mobile terminal(200) stores a door control application program. When the door emergency signal is received, the security server(400) determines a current position of the door lock controller and delivers an emergency call to a security team.
