<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce leakage of toner when a cartridge is removed. <P>SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus includes: a toner cartridge which has a toner ejecting opening ejecting the toner stored inside and is attachably/detachably held in an image forming apparatus main body; a cartridge supporting member supporting the toner cartridge and provided with a toner flowing in opening communicating with the toner ejecting opening; a toner transporting member transporting the toner flown in from the toner flowing in opening; and a transporting member driving control means for controlling the driving of the toner transporting member, wherein the toner in the vicinity of the toner flowing port is carried by driving the toner transporting member before the cartridge is attached/detached. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
