PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging apparatus with dust filtering functions by which reflection of dust on a photographed image, etc. is easily and surely prevented to obtain an excellent image. SOLUTION: An image pickup device 18 is arranged inside a frame 40. The frame 40 is approximately sealed by a transparent film 38 slidable to the frame 40 to prevent adhesion of the dust to the image pickup device 18. When the dust adheres to the transparent film 38, the dust is eliminated by sliding the transparent film 38 to the frame 40 to prevent reflection of the dust on a photography screen.
