PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an integrated circuit for audio which can control increase of the number of external pins even if the number of serial sound interfaces arranged in the integrated circuit for audio increases. SOLUTION: The integrated circuit 10 for audio is provided with at least two or more serial sound interfaces 1a, 1b of a three-wire type to/from which digital data are serially input/output. The serial sound interfaces 1a, 1b are provided each with an SCK terminal to/from which a first clock is input/output, and a WS terminal to/from which a second clock is input/output, wherein the period of the second clock is different from that of the first clock. Furthermore, connections are made between the both SCK terminals and between the both WS terminals of the serial sound interfaces 1a, 1b within the integrated circuit 10. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
