PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a construction method of enclosing a beam and an enclosing structure which can securely enclose the entire beam covered with an asbestos-containing coating material even under circumstances where the beam is arranged in a narrow space such as a ceiling space. SOLUTION: The method of enclosing the beam sheathes the exterior of the side of the beam 1 by applying a liquid enclosing material 30 while covering the bottom 4 of the beam 1 with a molded plate 10 which has been molded beforehand. In the structure of enclosing the asbestos-containing coating material which is constituted by the construction method, the circumference of the steel-frame beam 1 is covered with the film coating of the molded plate 10 and the hardened enclosing material 30.
