PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transplanter eliminating inconvenience that a seedling conveyer expands a space necessary for transportation and storage of the machine body. SOLUTION: The invention relates to the sulky rice transplanter provided with a longitudinally extensible seedling conveyer 15, set to supply spare seedlings 14 through the seedling conveyer 15 onto the machine body from front side of the machine. The seedling conveyer 15 is composed of a fixed section 20 and a movable section 21 and the whole posture of the conveyer is variable in conveying posture and storage posture based on the change of the posture of the movable section 21, wherein the movable section 21 is located on the front part of the fixed section 20 in conveying posture and in storage posture the fixed section 20 and the movable section 21 are vertically arranged as parallel each other and the front ends of the fixed section 20 and the movable section 21 are set to locate rearward from the front end of the machine body.
