GAS BURNER FOR TIPPING OFF, METHOD OF MANUFACTURING PLASMA DISPLAY PANEL, AND PLASMA DISPLAY PANEL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To melt and close an exhaust pipe uniformly so that the shape of the tip part of the exhaust pipe after tipping off may be uniform and to reduce occurrence of cracks which may cause leaking at the tip part of the exhaust pipe. SOLUTION: A gas burner 60 is provided with at least four gas injection holes 61 arranged so that each may be two pairs mutually opposed to, and heats and melts to close by flame 62 the exhaust pipe 50 of a plasma display panel arranged in a prescribed location. The four gas injection holes 61 are installed so that the distance from the gas injection holes 61 to the exhaust pipe 50 may be mutually equal and the straight line extended from the gas injection holes 61 to the injection direction of gas may contact the outer circumferential face of the exhaust pipe 50, but does not have the gas injection holes that may be nearly perpendicular to the outer circumferential face of the exhaust pipe 50.
