<p>A method of producing an S-adenosyl-L-methionine-containing dry yeast by using a yeast capable of producing S-adenosyl-L-methionine, characterized by comprising adding ascorbic acid or its salt to a yeast cell concentrate, which has been separated from a liquid culture medium of the yeast cells, and then drying the concentrate; an SAMe-containing dry yeast produced by the above method; and a composition for oral intake prepared by molding the above dry yeast. Thus, it is intended to establish a method whereby an SAMe-containing dry yeast, which contains SAMe at a high concentration and has an excellent storage stability, can be conveniently produced at a low cost and provide an SAMe-containing dry yeast obtained by the above production method and a composition for oral intake prepared by molding the above dry yeast.</p> |
