An electrode material of a plasma display panel, a producing method thereof, and a method for manufacturing the plasma display panel using the same are provided to prevent oxidization of the electrode material by producing the electrode material using a general metal material. An electrode material contains a core(200) made of metal and an Ag layer enclosing the core. The core contains at least one of copper, nickel and chrome, and has a diameter of 0.5 to 1.5 micrometers. The Ag layer has a first layer(250) enclosing the core and a second layer(280) enclosing the first layer. The first layer has a thickness of 0.01 to 0.5 micrometer, and the second layer has a thickness of 0.01 to 0.3 micrometer.
