METHOD FOR SYNTHESIZING PROTEIN WITH ESCHERICHIA COLI

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for synthesizing a protein with Escherichia coli, and to provide a protein obtained by the method for synthesizing the protein.

SOLUTION: This method for synthesizing the protein is characterized by synthesizing the protein with ribosome variant of Escherichia coli strain. The ribosome variant of Escherichia coli strain lacks L11 protein. AM68 strain is preferably used as the Escherichia coli strain lacking the L11 protein. An eucaryotic protein can easily be expressed and synthesized at a low cost by the method for synthesizing the protein using the Escherichia coli. The obtained protein is a soluble and function-holding protein.
