<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an anti-glypican 3 antibody having higher ADCC (antibody-dependent cellular cytotoxicity) activity and CDC (complement-dependent cytotoxicity) activity compared with those of conventional antibody, and provide a cell growth inhibitor and an anticancer agent containing the antibody as an active component. <P>SOLUTION: The invention relates to an antibody binding to a specific region of glypican 3 and a humanized antibody created based on the antibody.
