<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus that can choose arbitrary pages from a plurality of files by a small number of steps to print them as a single printed material by coupling them with each other while using a print job generated in a normal printing process. <P>SOLUTION: This image forming apparatus comprises: a coupling information addition means 10 for adding, to a print job, coupling information indicative of coupling with the other job or coupling completion information indicative of completion of the coupling; a print job analysis means 5 for analyzing whether or not the print job includes the coupling information or the coupling completion information; a print job memory means 8 that stores the print job when it is revealed by the print job analysis means 5 that the print job includes the coupling information; and a coupling print directive means 6 that performs the printing by coupling the print job stored in the print job memory means 8 with the print job including the coupling completion information when it is revealed by the print job analysis means 5 that the print job includes the coupling completion information. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
