PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a material transfer device for a grid-like pallet capable of achieving stable operation of a production line by reducing trouble such as an abrasion and catching of a material in a transfer process of the material placed on the grid-like pallet. SOLUTION: The material transfer device in a facility for conveying the grid-like pallet with the material placed thereon, into a predetermined transfer position and then sliding the material on the pallet to transfer it to a conveying line in the following process, is provided with a liner lifting means disposed below the predetermined transfer position and inserting a liner into a grid hole of the grid-like pallet from below to level the upper face of the pallet, and a material push-out means for pushing out the material to transfer it to the conveying line in the following process.
