PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a load carrier for stably placing a load and reducing a burden on the hands for supporting the load without hindering bending of the body when not in use. SOLUTION: The load carrier is constituted to be foldable by pivotally connecting the upper end of a second plate to the lower end of a first plate lockable to a belt wound around the waist of a worker, wherein the second plate is formed with load placing parts on the front and rear faces of a bent part by bending the lower end in approximately L-shape from the side view. The load carrier can be selectively changed into a first attitude in which the load can be placed on the first load placing part formed on the front face of the bent part in the hanging state of the second plate, and into a second attitude in which the load can be placed on the second load placing part formed on the front face of the bent part in a state of turning the second plate upward so that the tip of the bent part abuts on the front face of the first plate.
