<p>It is intended to provide a means of optimizing the insulin infusion rate by a CSII pump for each subject. Namely, a continuous subcutaneous insulin infusion therapy which is a continuous subcutaneous insulin infusion method using a continuous subcutaneous insulin pump characterized by comprising examining the circadian variation in the sympathetic nerve activity and the circadian variation in the parasympathetic nerve activity of a subject, calculating the inflection points of the circadian variations in these two nerve activities, detecting the times at which the inflection points arise and then referring the times as the points of altering the insulin infusion level.</p> |
