A water treatment equipment is provided to perform a water treatment process by using a bell type membrane module unit that is installed in a room having a low ceiling, and to prevent the membrane module from breaking down a housing by being contacted at an inner side of the housing. An equipment(1) for water treatment comprises: a housing(2) into which water to be treated is supplied; a membrane module unit(10) which is housed in the housing such that the membrane module is withdrawn from the housing, and which extracts treated water by filtering the water to be treated in the housing; and a housing holding part(3) for holding the housing such that the housing can make an inclined movement between a position that is almost perpendicular to the length direction of the membrane module unit and a position that is almost horizontal to the length direction of the membrane module unit. The membrane module unit includes: membrane modules(20); holding bodies(40) having a central pipe(11), membrane module holding parts(14U,14D), and contact member holding parts(41D,41U); and contact members(17U,17D).
