PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide solid food containing tartary buckwheat enabling more efficient ingestion of tartary buckwheat and easily taken; to provide a method for producing the solid food; and to provide a thickening agent derived from tartary buckwheat.

SOLUTION: The solid food containing tartary buckwheat includes dry pulverized material of tartary buckwheat plant bodies and a thickening agent derived from tartary buckwheat. The method for producing the solid food is also provided. The thickening agent is derived from tartary buckwheat.
