<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a separator for a fuel cell which has an excellent strength and durability and of which the unit cells can be assembled easily. <P>SOLUTION: The separator for a fuel cell is composed of a conductive resin layer which is formed by an electrodeposition process to coat a metal base plate and a gasket, and the resin layer contains a conductive material.
