<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an exhaust gas purifying system of a hydrogen fueled engine, wherein the exhaust gas purifying system can improve the purification of exhaust gas components by burning hydrogen gas in the hydrogen fueled engine as its fuel, and also by supplying hydrogen gas to the exhaust gas after combustion. <P>SOLUTION: The exhaust gas purifying system of the hydrogen fueled engine comprises a hydrogen storing tank, the hydrogen fueled engine, and a catalyst provided in an exhaust pipe, and is provided so as to supply the hydrogen gas into the exhaust pipe during the operation of the hydrogen fueled engine, wherein an upstream side exhaust gas sensor is provided in the exhaust pipe on the upstream side than the catalyst. An exhaust side hydrogen gas injection apparatus is provided on the upstream side than the upstream side exhaust gas sensor. A control means is provided in order to control the supply of the hydrogen gas so as to supply a small amount of the hydrogen gas smaller than the hydrogen gas to be supplied to the hydrogen fueled engine from an exhaust side hydrogen gas injection apparatus while controlling the supply of the hydrogen gas to the hydrogen fueled engine by the feedback control such that the exhaust gas has a specified lean side air-fuel ratio based on the detection of the upstream side exhaust gas sensor. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
